Most of the uric acid is filtered out by the kidneys and passes out of the body in urine.

But if too much uric acid is being produced or if the kidneys are not able to remove it from the blood normally, then the level of uric acid in the blood increases.That may lead to various body ailments.

2) Metabolic Acidosis
When a person eats high quantities of proteins that are not properly metabolized, the result is an over-abundance of uric acid in the blood.If excess uric acid is present and can’t be properly excreted, a condition known as metabolic acidosis.Metabolic acidosis may lead to rapid breathing, confusion and lethargy.

3) kidney Stones
When the kidney is not able to flush Uric Acid properly out of the body then it leads to kidney stones that to a very common side effect of excess uric acid in the bloodstream.

Test conducted to measure Uric Acid

Serum Uric Acid Measurement Test, determines how much uric acid is present in the blood. A blood sample is to be taken and then the test is to be conducted by the pathologists in the lab.

For Mens : 3.4 – 7.0 mg/dl
For Womes : 2.4 – 6.0 mg/dl
